Machine complex - automated production and packaging process for bearing rollers

Realizacja May 2024

The processing, transport, and inspection lines for bearing shafts are a fully automated production process consisting in particular of:

    • Grinding
    • Pampering
    • Washing after processing
  • Surface inspection
  • Dimensional inspection
  • Maintenance
  • Separation into the appropriate selection group
  • Packaging by selection group
  • Markings on the collection container

All these operations require the rollers to be delivered in the correct orientation at the specified time in the cycle, with the possibility of buffering before each operation. This requires the use of a number of auxiliary devices that forma production line with a length of almost 48m.

To ensure the process was carried out correctly, we used vertical conveyors in various configurations, modular curved conveyors, tripod (delta) robots, 6-axis robots with a load capacity of 6 kg to 120 kg, as well as X-Y portal feeding systems with very high movement dynamics.

The production lines have been operating for several years and are constantly being developed. New lines are also being built to increase the customer’s production capacity. These lines comply with the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) standard, which aims to minimize breakdowns, losses, and accidents.
