04 Sale and repair of electric motors

You can count on us in case of failure. We sell, repair, and rewind low-voltage electric motors. We perform work both at our facility and directly at the customer’s site. We know that every minute counts, which is why our experts are available around the clock in special cases. Express repairs are carried out continuously – from the moment you contact us to the final repair.

Sales, repair, and rewinding electric motors

Electric motors are the foundation of many manufacturing plants and service companies. Although these types of drives are highly durable, they can become damaged over time. An electric motor failure causes major complications in factory operations and can lead to serious production delays. In such cases, when time pressure becomes critical, it may be necessary to purchase a new motor instead of repairing it. To minimize losses resulting from production downtime, our company offers both quick repairs of damaged motors and the sale of new components, ensuring the continuity of your plant’s operations.

Aret offers repair and rewinding services for electric motors for 1MW, including:

  • ring engines
  • cage motors
  • crane motors
  • AC commutator motors
  • repulsion engines – Schrage engines
  • DC motors (rotors, shunters, and armatures)
  • engines from battery-powered trucks
  • motors (stators and rotors for power tools)
  • free-running motors
  • electric spindle motors

In addition to electric motors, our company provides services in the field of modernization, repair, and rewinding:

  • power generators
  • alternators (especially unusual ones)
  • electromagnets
  • transformers
  • slackers
  • coils
  • electrical catches

Repair or replace?

Sometimes a unit failure is so serious that it needs to be replaced with a new one. However, this is often not necessary, and professionally performed repair services can restore the drive to full working order. In addition, as a rule engine repair is much cheaper., than purchasing a new part.

Electric motor – how does it work?

Electric motors are machines that convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. This is possible thanks to the use of a variable magnetic field generated by the motor winding, caused by the current flowing through it. The force generated by the magnetic field acts on the motor structure and causes its shaft to rotate. The basis for the proper operation of an electric drive is the reliability of its components – brushes, brush holders, bearings, and windings.

Engine failure can affect both mechanical components and the electrical system itself. Among the faults that can occur in an engine are

  • winding meltdown
  • damage to the clamps
  • line break
  • shaft journal wear
  • wear of the bearing shield seat
  • loose rotor
  • loose package mounting

What is rewinding?

Motor rewinding (rewinding) is nothing more than professional regeneration of individual components of a damaged drive. The process involves replacing the damaged winding and often also refurbishing the bearing discs, bearings, and shaft of the device. Thanks to professional rewinding using modern techniques and adherence to processes, the motor not only returns to full efficiency.
